Double click on My Computer located on the Desktop,
then on Dial-Up Networking and next on Make New Connection.
Under Type a Name for the Computer you are dialing,
type GCL Dialer. Click on Configure. From the choices
of Maximum Speed, select either 115200 or 57600 or 38400.
Then select the Connection tab at the top wherein make
sure that there are no tick marks placed next to the
3 options under Call preferences. Click on OK and then
on Next.
Type 02 under Area Code and 0101325 under Telephone
number. Select Bangladesh (880) for Country or region
code. Click on Next and then on Finish. Now right click
on the GCL Dialer icon created and move down to Properties.
Remove the tick (check) mark next to Use area code and
Dialing Properties. Then select the Server Types tab
at the top and remove the tick marks in front of Log
on to network (under Advanced options), NetBEUI and
IPX/SPX Compatible (both under Allowed network protocols).
Make sure that there is a tick mark next to TCP/IP.
Click on OK.
Right click on the GCL Dialer again and select Create
Shortcut and then Yes to place the GCL Dialer on the
Desktop itself.

From the Start button, move to Settings and then click
on Dial-Up Networking. In the window that appears, double
click on Make New Connection. Under Type a Name for

From the Start button, move to Settings and then click
on Control Panel. Double click on Network and Dialup
Connections and then on Make New Connection. Click on
Next in the welcome screen that appears. In the next
window, select Dial-up to the Internet and then click
on Next. In the Welcome to the Internet Connection Wizard
which appears, select I want to set up my Internet connection
manually, or I want to connect through a Local Area
Network (LAN) and click on Next.
Leave the Area Code field blank, and type 0101325 in
the telephone number field. Make sure that there is
no tick mark (check) next to Use area code and dialing
rules. Click on Next. Enter your username and password
and click again on Next. Type GCL Dialer as your connection
name and click on Next. Select No when prompted if you
would wish to set up an email account. In the last window
that follows, do not place a tick on To connect to the
Internet… Click on Finish to complete the setup.
To create a shortcut on the desktop, right click on
the GCL Dialer icon in the Network and Dialup Connections
Folder, select Create Shortcut and then click again
on Yes.

From the Start button, move to Control Panel and click
on it. Select the Network and Internet Connections category
and click on Network Connections. In the Network Tasks
Menu on the left-hand side of the screen, click on Create
New Connection.
When a New Connection Wizard appears, click on Next
therein. Select Connect to the Internet and then click
on Next. Now select Set up my connection manually option.
Click on Next. Select the Connect using a dial-up modem
option and again click on Next. In the ISP Name field,
enter GCL Dialer and click on Next. Type in the phone
number 0101325 followed by clicking on Next. Enter your
username and password and reenter your password in the
confirm password field. Click on Next.
Select Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop
option, and click on Finish to complete the setup.
