| The Founder of Starpath Group Capt. M. Rafiqul
Islam was born in 1st
February 1959. He started his professional life as a cadet in 1977 with
M/S Gulfeast Shipping Lines Ltd., Hong Kong and correspondence courses
with Southampton Institute of higher education, England. He obtained class-3
Deck (2nd Officer) certificate
from England in 1986, Class-2 Deck (CH. Officer) Certificate from England
in 1982, class-1 Deck (Captain) certificate from England in 1990. He also
obtained BTEC, HND certificate from South Glamargan Institute of Higher
Education, Cardiff. U.K. During his professional period from 1990 to 1992
he commanded the Vessels of M/S Shinwa Navigation Co., Japan and M/S Armas
Shipping Co., Singapore. After leaving Sea Service in the year of 1993 he established the Starpath Group and become Managing Director and Chief Executive of the Group which dealing with Shipping Agency, Crew Manning Agency, Forwarding Agency, Commodity Trading, Marine Survey and Consultant. |
